While usually known for showing little emotion in public, Jessica Alba smiles away while spends some quality time and feeding her 6-month-old daughter, Honor Marie, in Coldwater Park in Beverly Hills on Friday.

The 27-year-old actress has recently been showing off her new short hair and rocked some interesting outfits recently. She wore pajamas to Dolce & Gabanna party and earlier went with the high-waisted pegged pants look. Check it.

Jessica Alba to play a mathematics genius in her new movie

New mother Jessica Alba is returning to work after giving birth to baby daughter Honor - to play a mathematics genius in a new movie.

Three months after she welcomed her first child with husband Cash Warren, Alba has signed to star in Invisible.

She will play “a young woman who has retreated into the world and is consumed by number and math,” reports Daily Variety.

Alba won the role after Ugly Betty commitments forced America Ferrera to pull out.

The 27-year-old is also preparing to reprise her role in a sequel to 2005 movie Sin City.

Just two months after giving birth to daughter Honor Marie, Jessica Alba is 25 lbs. lighter – and her trainer is telling PEOPLE just how she did it.

“Jessica went from a size 8 to a size 4 pretty quickly,” says Alba's longtime trainer Ramona Braganza. The actress – who flaunted her post-baby body at the ALMA Awards on Aug. 17 – has been opting for a low-fat, low-carb diet as part of Braganza's 321 Baby Bulge Be Gone plan.

She has been sweating, too: With an elliptical machine and treadmill at home, Alba, 27, has resumed her routine of core exercises, cardio and circuit training.

"The baby always comes first, but Jessica definitely set goals for herself,” says Braganza, who now trains Alba six days a week.

And having a workout buddy helped. “She loves working out with a girlfriend,” says Braganza, whose client, actress Jamie King, frequently trains with Alba.

Says Braganza: “Jessica has made amazing progress in a very short time.”

Despite the fact that she looked absolutely miserable pregnant, Jessica Alba insists she's ready for more kids.

Speaking at the Alma awards, Alba told reporters, "I'd like to have as many children as my body will allow - and I'd adopt if I still want more after that."

She did look pretty hot pregnant, and there's always money to be made with celebrity baby pics, so why not go for baby #2?

There are a lot more men making a lot more money and headlining movies than women, and the more of us who can come up and do that the better. Preparing for the birth of your first child can be nerve-wracking for any new mom, but for Jessica Alba and her husband Cash Warren, the birth of their daughter Honor Marie Warren on June 7 was anything but chaotic.

"I didn't scream," Jessica tells OK! in an exclusive interview and photoshoot. "It was really Zen." And Cash could only marvel at his wife's quiet strength when she gave birth. "She didn't make a sound," he says. "It was amazing."

Here, the proud pair open their door exclusively to OK!, introducing the adorable Honor Marie Warren.

"It hasn't totally sunk in," Jessica reveals to OK!. "She dreams, she smiles, and coos and does all these things, but she hasn't seen enough of the world yet to understand any of that stuff. So I still feel like she's connected to the other world, or something. There's no other way to explain it. It's a miracle."

On her natural, hypnobirthing delivery: “I didn’t scream. It was really Zen. The labor was more like meditation. I did yoga breathing. I was focused.” (Cash marveled at his wife’s quiet strength when she gave birth, adding, “She didn’t make a sound. It was amazing.”)

Jessica Alba on Pregnancy: 'I Never Felt Less Sexy'

Angelina Jolie may love being pregnant, but not everyone in Hollywood is similarly gushing.

"I never felt less sexy," Jessica Alba says of her own pregnancy. "I mean, I wouldn't have changed it for the world ... but I wanted to get rid of all the weight."

The actress, who gave birth to her daughter, Honor Marie, last month, opened up about motherhood – and her recent wedding to Cash Warren – in the August U.K. edition of Cosmopolitan magazine.

"I never thought I'd find a man before 30, let alone marry him and have his baby," she told the magazine. "I always used to meet the wrong guys – the ones who wanted to hang out for a week and see how far they could get. If you didn't have sex in the first few days, you were either frigid or a lesbian. So I held out – and, boy, am I glad I did!"

As for her no-frills wedding at the Beverly Hills courthouse, Alba insisted the hush-hush ceremony was "very romantic." And she had no desire for an over-the-top, celebrity-studded ceremony.

"We're not a typical Hollywood couple," she said. "I love that he's not an actor. I'm way too high maintenance to be in a relationship with an actor – they're all such divas!"

Warren has also been instrumental in keeping Alba grounded during her rapid transformation into wife and mother.

Jessica Alba Ponders 'Laid-Back' Motherhood

New mom Jessica Alba gave birth to her first child, Honor Marie Warren, last month. Now she's carefully considering how she and husband Cash Warren will influence their daughter.

"Kids' personalities have so much to do with the parents and their mentality," the 27-year-old tells Britain's Sunday Express for their S Magazine. "If you're very paranoid and uptight and won't let your child cross the street, they are going to take on that anxiety. If you're a little more laid-back and make your kids responsible for their actions, you'll probably have an easier time with them. I guess I'll find out."

The actress has also been studying up on children's health issues.

"I've been reading a lot about kids and infections, autism and vaccinations," adds Alba, who suffered from health problems as a child. "I've come to think that perhaps I was a product of my environment or the vaccines or something my mother took when she was pregnant."

Already, Alba finds that her own eating habits have drastically changed.

"I used to be a just a coffee for breakfast, yogurt for lunch girl," she tells the magazine. "Now I have to have something every couple of hours. I turn into Satan if I don't eat."

Costar: Jessica Alba Will Be 'Role Model' for Daughter

Jessica Alba's newest role is that of a mother, but she'll also be something more for her new daughter, a former costar says.

"She'll be really attentive and really strong and she'll be a great role model," actress Rosario Dawson told PEOPLE at the Cinevegas Honorees Reception in Las Vegas on Friday. "She's very smart and I like that about her."

Dawson, who starred in Sin City with Alba and was being honored at the movie festival with the "Half Life" award, said she has already congratulated the new mother, and called Honor Marie Warren "a beautiful little girl."

"I don't know what people think about her on the outside or what their impression is, but Jessica is very strong and a very powerful woman," says Dawson.

Alba, 27, and husband Cash Warren, 31, welcomed their first child on June 7.

As for who will rule with an iron fist, Dawson says, "She'll probably be the disciplinarian more than Cash. I can definitely see that." http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20208198,00.html
